Dividends represent the payout of part of the Group’s net income, providing a return each year on the investment made by Mersen’s shareholders.
All shareholders, whether they own registered or bearer stock, receive the dividend proposed at the General Meeting of the shareholders held every year.
To receive the dividend, shareholders must simply own stock on the day prior to the planned payment date.
At the Annual General Meeting on May 23, 2012, the Supervisory Board will propose the payment of a dividend of €1 per share with respect to fiscal year 2011. Shareholders will be given the option of electing for payment of the dividend in shares.
