The Groups is active in Canada since 1954 and has 4 production sites, one of which is dedicated to manufacturing coolers for electrical protection purposes.

HIGH TEMPERATURE SEALING MATERIALS FOR INDUSTRY


For over 30 years, Mersen has produced and developed the sealing product, PAPYEX®, which today is used in a wide variety of sealing applications.

As a substitute for asbestos, this material can be used to produce an extensive array of gaskets, ranging from standard industrial applications to the most severe superheated steam system applications in nuclear power plants.

In terms of dynamic sealing, our carbon and graphite materials are used in TURBOGRAF sealing systems for a wide variety of applications in aggressive environments: pump shafts, mixers and fans used in the chemical, nuclear, paper, and iron and steel industries…
