Active in the United-States since 1952 in all its activities, the Group runs 7 production sites in 7 different states. Its presence has grown stronger over the years, with the acquisition of the US company Stackpole and the electrical protection activities of Gould Shawmut. This is the Group’s first market.

Mersen anti-static brushes are made up of thousands of Rigilor® carbon fibers or stainless steel fibers, dedicated to static electricity removal.

Various configurations are available to meet the requirements of industrial applications and, in particular, for production processes of the travelling type (plastic, rubber, textiles, paper, packaging film, etc.).

In parallel to the elimination of static electricity on travelling products, other applications have been developped :

  • The detection of defects on large areas by electrical contact.
  • Blocking off light at the entrance and exit of industrial machines.
  • Controlling leak rates for industrial enclosures subjected to a gas stream.
