Mersen is chosen by Alstom to equip its first 100% electric bus
Paris, April 01, 2019 – Mersen (Euronext FR0000039620 – MRN), a global expert in electrical power and advanced materials, has been chosen to equip Aptis, Alstom’s new 100% electric bus.
Aptis is a game-changing 100% electric mobility solution developed by Alstom that is first intended for the European market, which represents a potential of 7,000 units per year until 2025.
To date, Mersen is the provider selected to supply the laminated busbars used to connect the power converters that equip the Aptis buses.
This latest achievement is another milestone in more than 20 years of successful collaboration between Mersen and the development teams at Alstom that has also earned Mersen’s Pontarlier site (France) the award of “Trusted Supplier” of Alstom.
