Mersen Boostec celebrates women in the industry

Mersen Boostec submitted the candidacy of a collaborator, Nadine, for the Woman Industrial Vocation Award by the French UIMM (Federation of Metallurgy industries) which aims to promote women’s vocations in the industry.

This initiative is part of Mersen’s policy to support and promote our employees’ expertise.

Nadine, a Product Quality Technician, has been present since the beginning of Mersen Boostec. She has thus participated and contributed to the early development of  Silicon carbide, and its application, particularly in the field of optical instrumentation.

She supported the design and implementation of Mersen Boostec’s large-scale projects in the field of space optical instrumentation: first with the OSIRIS telescope, then Gaia, Herschel, EUCLID, etc.

Winner of the Woman Industrial Vocation Award, Nadine is a wonderful ambassador for Mersen.
