Information relating to the labor, environmental and social aspects of Mersen’s business is verified by an independent third party, responsible for ascertaining that the pertinent CSR information has been disclosed and for verifying its accuracy. The efforts made by the Group over the last decade to formalize, improve and consolidate its approach to sustainable development have been recognized by several independent organizations.
MSCI
In 2023, Mersen confirmed its excellent rating of AA (on a scale of AAA-CCC) in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment.

EcoVadis
For the 3rd consecutive year, Mersen has been awarded an EcoVadis golden medal for its commitment to sustainable development, with a score of 73/100.
The Group ranks among the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the context of sustainability performance.
Voluntary, transparent and recognized engagement
The Group reports to the Carbon Disclosure Project, a not-for-profit charity that measures the environmental performance of large companies and their strategy on climate change and water security on behalf of corporate investors with more than USD 106 trillion in assets.

Sustainalytics
In 2022, Mersen received a ESG Risk Rating of 18.3 - Low Risk in the Sustainalytics rating.
Sustainalytics classifies a company as a part of its comprehensive universe or core universe primarily by its market capitalization as well as its inclusion in major global and regional indexes.
