Mersen sustainability efforts recognized at the Battery Show Europe
Mersen was recognized by BETTER STANDS for using recyclable materials and reusable structure and furniture.
From June 3 to 5, Mersen participated to the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart.
On this occasion, Mersen was assessed by Better Stands, a new initiative that rates tradeshow stands based on their level of reusability..
As part of our ongoing commitment to making the world a better place, by selecting reusable furniture and structures, and choosing recyclable materials whenever possible.
These conscious choices, made in close collaboration with our booth builder Tradecom GmbH, enabled us to meet all of BETTER STANDS’ criteria and earn the Gold rating.
WHAT IS BETTER STANDS?
BETTER STANDS is a collaborative initiative to more towards the use of reusable stands with the participation of the whole event industry: organisers, service providers, assessors, venues and associations.
BETTER STANDS provides a framework, consisting of a 10-point checklist, for assessing stands. Stands can reach Bronze, Silver or Gold standard depending how reusable they are.
It includes:

- Furniture & equipments
- Lighting
- Fascia & overhead structure
- Ceiling
- Display facilities
- Floor covering
- Graphics & decorative items
