Mersen: Automotive-specific IATF 16949 certification for the Angers plant (France)

Mersen is pleased to announce that its plant at Angers is now officially certified according to the automotive-specific quality management standard IATF 16949.

This standard, based on ISO/TS 16949, is an international standard describing the quality management systems needed to supply highly engineered products within the automotive industry. For Mersen, this successful transition audit and the associated maintenance of the IATF 16949 certification conclude several months of adaptation to strengthen the process-oriented approach of quality management. It also demonstrates how Mersen has positioned itself as a competent and reliable partner to the automotive industry.

Luc Themelin, Chief Executive Officer of Mersen, said: “Quality is of great importance at our Angers facility as we will be serving the automotive and e-mobility industry with a comprehensive laminated and monitoring busbar offer. This award signals our commitment to the highest standards and ensures our customers can rely on delivery of high-quality products.
