NEWBURYPORT, MA (AUGUST 2026) – Mersen, a global leader in electrical power and advanced materials, will showcase its comprehensive portfolio of product solutions for solar power, energy storage, and renewable energy systems at RE+ 2026.
Stop by booth #C6632 where you can learn more about the industry's first UL-Listed 2000VDC HP20P photovoltaic fuse series, specifically engineered to meet the high-amperage demands of modern utility-scale solar circuits.
Additionally, Mersen will feature the FS Series UL 98 Listed fused disconnect switch, and the first-to-market Class RK1 Reducer Fuse product series.
Mersen has exciting news to share about products coming soon!
Mersen will be previewing the latest additions to the line-up of DC protection fuses that protect Power Semiconductor devices as well as DC over-current protection fuses for power conversion, electrical energy storage (EES), and battery energy storage (BESS), for the rapidly evolving ai market.
The continuous growth of demand for battery-related applications and the need for better operation management and fault clearing of such loads are the driving forces behind Mersen’s development of a wide range of DC overcurrent protection. Mersen also offers a full range of high-speed fuses for the protection of solar inverters as well as cooling and bus bar solutions for connectivity and energy management of solar inverters.
Highlights at the Mersen booth include:
- Mersen’s FIRST-to-Market HP20P 2000VDC Photovoltaic fuse series. Designed specifically to meet higher amperage demands of today’s PV circuits, the 22x85mm HP20P series handles the harsh cyclical loads and thermal conditions of customers’ highest amperage applications.
- FS Series UL 98 Listed Fused Disconnect Switch. Designed for branch circuit protection using any UL Listed Class J fuse and engineered for performance and convenience, the FS Series delivers the high interrupting capacity of Class J fuses (200kA SCCR) in the same footprint as a fuse holder.
- Mersen’s FIRST-to-Market Class RK1 Reducer Fuse product series. Now includes important additional 600V ratings. Reducer fuses provide a permanent and reliable solution and are designed to be used in all applications where standard UL Class RK-1, RK-5, K-5, and H fuses are typically employed.
- Mersen D100A 1000VDC High Speed DC fuses: The D100A line-up belongs to the new DC Over-Current protection (O.C.P.) range developed by Mersen to address specific needs in DC protection for Battery and Charging Station safety. Along with the ability to withstand heavy duty cycling and low power losses improving system reliability and efficiency, it makes them ideal for charging systems, UPS, and DC power conversion equipment.
- Mersen’s D93AB15C and D94AB15C ESS DC fuses. Mersen is expanding its electrical protection portfolio with the new aBat battery protection DC fuse series, ranging from 500-1600A. Specifically engineered for demanding Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Compliant with IEC 60269-7 standards, these fuses safely interrupt short-circuit currents from 8–10 times their rated current up to 300 kA, safeguarding utility-scale assets against heavy fault currents. Designed for battery racks and combiner units, the series offers superior cycling endurance and low power losses to maximize system reliability.
- Mersen’s Enhanced Protistor® Square Body (PSB) semiconductor fuses: Mersen will preview the next evolution of its trusted Protistor® Square Body semiconductor fuse family. Engineered for ultra-fast protection of critical power semiconductor devices, the enhanced series combines advanced AC/DC electrical performance with a compact footprint and flexible mounting options for seamless integration into OEM equipment. Trusted worldwide, the new Protistor® aR fuse-links fully comply with international standards and environmental mandates, including RoHS, REACH, and WEEE. The enhanced PSB series delivers the performance and flexibility needed to address today’s and tomorrow’s power protection challenges.
Mersen’s overcurrent and surge protective devices (SPDs) for applications including DC, that are essential components in energy storage, transmission, and EV charging applications, will also be displayed.
Mersen’s steadfast dedication to sustainable energy markets propels our development of electrical protection products within this arena and we are excited to present these during RE+ 2026. Mersen’s expert team of product managers and technical sales will be on hand to discuss your application challenges and share solution capabilities.
Mersen continues to innovate across all markets to supply the latest options in cooling solutions, bus bars, and capacitors with customized designs and optimization for engineered products for battery modules and inverters, as well as Medium Voltage fuses for transformer protection, and DC hybrid fuse solutions for the battery-related market.
