Surge-Trap® Monobloc Surge Protective Device (SPD) ST Series is a highly cost effective, no-fuse, fail-safe surge suppressor featuring Mersen’s TPMOV® technology inside – no need for additional overcurrent protection. All catalog numbers are UL 1449 5th Edition approved, DIN-rail mountable, with visual indicator and a small footprint. A remote indicator provides status for local or remote indication. A high short circuit current rating makes it suitable for most industrial control panels.

Surge-Trap® Pluggable STPT12 Series - 8YPV is the PHOTOVOLTAIC range of combined Type 1+2/Class I+II devices intended for discharging lightning currents (10/350 μs) and protecting against induced voltage surges (8/20 μs), in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-31 standards. Ideal solution for protecting 6 MPPT, saving space and optimizing cost. DIN rail plug-in format.

PV string boxes T2 is the series of DC photovoltaic surge protection junction boxes for inverters to IEC/EN standard. With surge protection type 2, such boxes are ready for installation and just need to be connected in parallel upstream of residential and lite comercial string inverters of several MPP trackers, mainly 1000Vdc rooftop installations. Available with MC4 or cable gland connectors and for one and two MPP tracker applications. Please consult for availability and models, for instance 5 pole and 8 pole SPDs.

Surge-Trap® Pluggable STPT12 Series - AC-Reinforced is the series of combined Type 1+2/Class I+II devices intended for discharging lightning currents (10/350 μs) and protecting against induced voltage surges (8/20 μs), in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11 . Suitable for the AC side protection of inverters or wind turbine generators with a nominal voltage of 800 V AC. The reinforced 3+1 variant ensures safe operation where high withstand voltage peaks are required or where DC offsets are induced in AC side.

Surge-Trap® Pluggable STPT2 Series - 5YPV is the PHOTOVOLTAIC range of Type 2/Class II devices intended for discharging induced voltage surges (8/20 μs), in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-31 standards. Ideal solution for protecting 2 or 3 MPPT, saving space and optimizing cost. DIN rail plug-in format.
