PV string boxes T2 is the series of DC photovoltaic surge protection junction boxes for inverters to IEC/EN standard. With surge protection type 2, such boxes are ready for installation and just need to be connected in parallel upstream of residential and lite comercial string inverters of several MPP trackers, mainly 1000Vdc rooftop installations. Available with MC4 or cable gland connectors and for one and two MPP tracker applications. Please consult for availability and models, for instance 5 pole and 8 pole SPDs.

Suitable for the AC side protection of inverters or wind turbine generators with a nominal voltage of 800 V AC. The reinforced 3+1 variant ensures safe operation where high withstand voltage peaks are required or where DC offsets are induced in AC side.
