disc making the TPMOV surge suppression component a fail-safe device. Upon failure the TPMOV surge suppression component is
also equipped with a visual pin indicator as well as a normally open
micro-switch providing remote indication, if applicable. Mersen’s
25TPMOV series surge suppression component is rated for 25kA - 8/20μs peak surge current and is
available for maximum continuous operating voltages (MCOV) from
150V to 320VAC.

Protistor® size 2x72 and 2x73 aR, 550 to 1250VAC (IEC)
They have been engineered to provide state-of-the-art protection for semiconductors: diodes, thyristors and IGBT devices. They are assembled with die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which helps control arcing characteristics for a lower I²t and high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated and all hardware is non-magnetic.
All fuse-links can be equipped with a low voltage trip-indicator which can operate a field mountable microswitch.
Protistor® size 70 aR, 1100 to 1250VAC (IEC) / 1300VAC (UL)
The Protistor® have been engineered to provide state-of-the-art protection for semiconductors: diodes, thyristors, GTO's and IGBT devices. Fuses are assembled with pure silver, die-cut elements embedded in solidified sand, which helps control arcing characteristics for a lower I²t and high interrupting rating level. All contact surfaces are silver plated and all hardware is non-magnetic.
All fuse-links can be equipped with a low voltage trip-indicator which can operate a field mountable microswitch.
