Fuses

Ferraz Shawmut Class C fuses have British standard (BS88) dimensions and are exact replacements for the British fuses and older HRCII-C fuses. Class C fuses are not dimensionally or electrically interchangeable with other North American fuses. They feature ceramic bodies and bolt-in mounting. They are for short-circuit protection only, in motor controllers, for example, where overload protection is provided by an overload relay.

The Mersen Amp-Trap AG fuse series is a complete line of UL Listed Class G fuses with time-delay (above 5A rating). Class G fuses are made in four physical sizes and provide branch-circuit protection for lighting, heating, and appliance circuits.

PCT series of time-delay direct-mountable fuses address the need for electrical protection at the PC board. These fuses help PCB users/manufacturers reduce parts by eliminating clips and/or fuseholders and allowing automated assembly. PCT fuses can be used for the protection of main frame power boards, small circuit breakers with low-interrupting capabilities and other critical components. PCF fuses bring greatly increased ampere, voltage and interrupting ratings to the board itself and are UL Component Recognized.
