Fuses

Mersen capacitor fuses are designed to ANSI C37-41. They are currentlimiting operating without noise or discharge and are designed to be used indoors in a general purpose enclosure or outdoors in a weatherproof enclosure. These are non-disconnecting fuses requiring the use of a disconnect switch. These capacitor fuses provide both short circuit and overload protection and are intended to protect against capacitor case rupture or dielectric failure within the capacitor. The various mounting configurations offer manufacturers a wide range of cost/space saving solutions and a large choice of equivalent products

Mersen’s First-to-Market Reducer Fuses are a safe permanent solution for decreasing your current rating without using a fuse reducer, which are designed and listed for temporary use only. Certified as a Special Purpose UL/CSA Listed Class RK1 and Class J fuses, these reduced current rating fuses are designed to fit into the next larger size fuse holders, providing the same high reliability performance, durability, and arc flash mitigation as standard Class RK1 or Class J fuses.

These Protistor® size 14x51 have been designed to protect power semi conductors, complying with standard IEC 60269-4. They are extremely high interrupting rating fuses with large band of ratings (current rating 6 to 63A).
Two models are existing: with or without striker.

Mersen's 5SF miniature fuses cover a range including multiple amperages for 250VAC, for the protection of electrical distribution circuits and other industrial applications. These fuses are available in size 5x20. 5SF miniature fuses are fast-acting fuses that protect your electrical equipment from the slightest high current. The D fuse-system is the first generation of screw fuse-system in the german DIN standard. It is still used in many installations.
Applications are low voltage ditribution units, where non trained persons are allowed to change the fuse-links.
The D flink fuse range comprises the sizes NDZ, DII, DIII.

The range of applications for D flink fuse-links is the protection of equipments. The D flink fuse-links, not standardized by the IEC, are fast fuse-links whereas D gG fuse links are considered in comparison as slow fuse-links.

The fuse complies with standard EN 60269-2 section II and standard BS 88 part 2. These fuses are designed for : “General purpose use” motor protection (gM type). This fuse range insures an excellent current limitation for all overloads on a large range of applications. Their size cannot allow exchange by other fuses of higher rating in their range. They are screwed into fuseholders or bolted directly onto busbars, or in fuse interruptors disconnectors.
