Main missions
SOURCING MANAGEMENT
- Is responsible for Supplier identification and development.
- According to internal needs, Define purchasing strategy for her/his portfolio
- Identify new supplier for new projects
- Assess the supplier and manage progress plan
- Manage supplier panel
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Negotiate competitive prices for serial life.
- Implement frame agreements with suppliers
PRICE MANAGEMENT
- Negotiate cost reduction with suppliers.
- Identify savings opportunities and implement them.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Is in charge of new components sourcing for new projects: guarantee purchasing project objectives in term of: Quality, Cost & planning
- Follow supplier over the project lifetime until PPAP approval and SOP
RESPONDS TO REQUESTS, ADVISES AND ASSISTS THE SITE'S OPERATIONAL STAFF.
Candidate Profile:
Graduate degree, preferably in Engineering
Experience in Purchasing
Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry
Project management skills
Decision making and organization skills
Advanced level of English
